Concrete pools: drawn for your garden and your architecture
The shell is cast on site to fit your plot. Free forms, seating ledges, a children's area, a waterline that flows into the view — whatever you want goes into the design. We build skimmer, overflow or infinity pools, finished in mosaic, tiles or liner.
- Build time: 6–10 weeks

Three waterlines
Skimmer poolThe water sits just below the edge and skimmers take in the surface water. The most economical concrete option, with no balance tank.
6–8 weeks
OverflowThe water is level with the edge and spills into a grated channel, so the surface looks like a mirror; a balance tank recovers the water.
7–10 weeks
InfinityThe spilling edge faces the view; from the right spot the water seems to end at the horizon. For sloping plots with a view.
8–10 weeks
Why concrete?
Is a concrete pool right for you?
- You want no limits on size or shape
- You want an overflow or infinity waterline
- You want mosaic, ceramic or stone finishes
- You are building for a residence, hotel or large shared pool
Good to know: Concrete pools can develop cracks and leaks over time, and repairs mean breaking out and re-finishing, which is costly. A liner finish inside reduces this risk.

Concrete Pool
Overflow or skimmer?
An overflow pool gives the mirror look and keeps the surface clean, but needs a balance tank and more pipework. A skimmer pool is quicker and more economical. We decide together after seeing your plot and budget.
Do I need a sloping plot for infinity?
No, but slope and view strengthen the effect. Overflow works on flat plots too; for the infinity look the viewing angle matters.
Do concrete pools leak?
Not with a proper structural design, waterproofing and workmanship. Over the years, though, ground movement, cracks or tired waterproofing can cause leaks, and repairs mean breaking out and re-finishing, which is costly. If you want to avoid that risk, choose a liner finish inside, a panel-liner pool or a container pool that is leak-tight for life.
How long does a concrete pool take?
Usually 6–10 weeks, depending on excavation, finish and overflow system; the exact schedule is in the written quote.
Is the overflow water wasted?
No. It collects in the channel, drops into the balance tank, is filtered and returns to the pool.
How is the price set?
Per project, from size, depth, waterline, finish and equipment. We give a written quote after the free site visit; ask us about instalments.
