Gökhan Bey’s pool moves to salt chlorination
A salt-chlorination system was integrated into the existing water-circulation pipework at Gökhan Bey’s pool in Çatalköy.

Disinfection integrated into the existing system
The salt-chlorination generator was connected to the pool’s existing circulation line and integrated to work with its existing pump, filter and pipework. The disinfection setup was upgraded without replacing the entire pool system.
Existing equipment retained
- Existing pool pump and filter arrangement
- Salt-chlorination cell connected to existing pipework
- Connections to the existing electrical panel and equipment room
How does salt chlorination work?
Salt added to the pool water passes through an electrolysis cell as the water circulates. The cell produces chlorine from the dissolved salt for disinfection. The system is not chlorine-free; pH and chlorine levels still need regular testing and adjustment.
